Description

The list of ECUs used in all models and brands of cars is very extensive and specialized. ECUs are electronic units often developed for specific models and systems, and each car manufacturer can have hundreds of different types of ECUs.

To give you an idea, below I’ve provided some of the main categories and examples of ECUs used by various manufacturers, along with some well-known brands:
